Delegate Access with InMotion Hosting

In InMotion Hosting, delegating access is referred to as Adding a WebPro.

An InMotion Hosting WebPro allows you to assign delegated access to your web developer so that they can work within your hosting without you having to share your personal credentials. This gives you a more secure way to work with freelancers, agencies, etc.

There are two ways to assign WebPro access:

Method 1: Send a WebPro Request

1. Log into your AMP account on InMotion Hosting’s website
2. Select the “WebPro” option along the navigation bar
3. Along the right hand side, you’ll see a box that says “I Have a WebPro
4. Ask your Web Developer for their AMP ID and enter it into this box.
   • If are you adding S-FX as your WebPro, please use our AMP ID for your request: 68A64053
5. Once you select “Request,” it’ll send a request to your Developer and grant them access to your account.
6. After the request has been accepted, you will need to access the WebPro link once more to assign the preferred access.

Method 2: Share Your AMP ID with Developer

1. Log into your AMP account on InMotion Hosting’s website
2. Select the “WebPro” option along the navigation bar
3. Look to the upper right hand corner of this screen for your “AMP ID”
4. Share this AMP ID with your web developer. They can request an invite from you that you will have to approve.
5. Once this access has been approved, your developer will have access to your AMP.
